The Emperor represents power. There is nothing subtle about this Tarot card. The Empress has power through love. The Emperor has power through power. He is in control, he is forceful and ambitious. Nothing will stop him. He is a natural leader, having either been born to the role or having disposed of all those who stood in his way. If well aspected in a Tarot spread this card can indicate success. It represents obstacles overcome, goals reached and ambition fulfilled. If badly aspected it can indicate either weakness or an abuse of power.

The Emperor surveys his minions with a detached and observant eye. They are working well. Content, willing slaves, fed and chemically coddled. With boxes at home at which to stare, all are stimulated to the point of releasing optimal levels of serotonin and ambivalence be maintained.
Soon, he thinks to himself, I will have to start mining other planets to feed my past time, and for assets to comfort the slaves.

A Pleiadian once said that humans were the result of what a slave race created in anger. Perfect creatures, once, and then experienced The Fall. Forgetful of their Divinity and imprinted by their Slave Owners, the Sadist/Masochist paradigm was formed into their identities.

The Emperor was given the right to rule by the Slave Owners, and they fed off the delicious feast of his cruel emotions. Lust for power tasted like the most perfectly seared, dripping steak, smothered in Bernaise sauce. Anger, a fresh desert. A nuclear bomb -- we'll they just don't know if they're eating or cumming.

The Empress waits, the weight of such heavy soil above as she is deep in the ground, waiting to be consumed by worms and fed to dirt. Dead, but alive in thought and mind and attention. Some day, as it is decreed by the natural order, she will rise again, pulled up through roots, rhizomes, making up the bark and the branches of great trees. These truly regal and venerable beings rise over humans and sing their ancient songs. In the last days of the Emperor, those with ears for survival will hear. They will remember the elements, the Earth, and their brothers and sisters in all creations. The illusion of cash and entertainment will melt like crack and for your last hit of oblivion and pain.

The emperor will lose his crown. Things are blowing up everywhere as The Tower steps in to the scene.

Now the Emperor has become the Hanging Man, Waiting in peril. Hoping that he is in fact, really a chrysalis. Perhaps a Chariot will come by and take him on a ride to Fortune, or his Lover will come by to take him home.
